Descrizione: The primary focus of this book/CD set is on jazz and the related styles of funk, brazilian and afro-cuban jazz. The CD features 16 play-along tunes, including jazz classics by John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and Sonny Rollins, choice standas well as Latin and funk tunes by Pee Wee Ellis, Russell Ferrante, James Brown, and others, plus 9 rhythmic etudes by 3 Berklee faculty members. In addition the book contains written parts and playing suggestions for bassists and drummers. Soloistsythm sections include Berklee faculty members Hal Crook, Bruce Gertz, Rick Peckham, Billy Pierce, and others.
